FAQ
You have questions?
If you are looking for more intensive and unfiltered energy, raw stones could be the right choice for you. Raw stones protect the natural structure of the mineral and are often perceived as more powerful in energy work. They offer a more direct connection to the earth and can have a deeper effect in meditations. Sixted stones, on the other hand, with their smooth surface, can be perceived as aesthetically more appealing and lie comfortably in the hand. Think about whether you prefer the intensive and natural charisma of the raw stones or appreciate the polished stones for their elegant presentation and suitability for everyday use. Ultimately, the choice lies with you and your personal needs. Personally, I not only appreciate raw stones for their authentic naturalness, but also for their unique aesthetics, which gives a special charisma due to their genuine form and original beauty. :)
The stone
Place them in places that feel special for you, be it on the desk, on shelves or on a personal altar. However, there is an important exception to note: certain gemstones, in particular colored and transparent such as amethyst, fluorite, rose quartz, smoke quartz and citrine, are sensitive to direct sunlight and can bleach. To prevent this, avoid longer stays in the sun.
- As a jewelry variant:
Store airtight closed: Store your jewelry in an airtight locked bag or jewelry box to minimize contact with air and moisture. - Store separately: Keep every piece of jewelry individually to avoid scratches and friction. Use small bags or jewelry boxes.
- Avoid contact with cosmetics and chemicals: Silver and gold -filled jewelry can be affected by cosmetics, perfumes and hairsprays. Only apply your jewelry after you have applied your care products.
- Cleaning with a soft cloth: Use a soft, lint -free cloth regularly to clean your jewelry. This removes traces of contact and holds the shine.
- Note temperatures: Do not store your jewelry at extreme temperatures. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or heat.
By following this care instructions, you can make sure that your silver and gold-filled jewelry will stay in a nice condition for a long time.
To keep the shine for a long time, there are a few tips here:
Sterling silver
- Use a silver cleaning cloth: Special silver cleaning cloths are impregnated with a gentle cleaning solution. Carefully rub the piece of jewelry to remove traces of contact.
- Mild soap and water: Mix mild soap with warm water and clean the jewelry with a soft cloth or a soft brush. Rinse it thoroughly and dry it carefully.
- Baking powder and aluminum foil: Place a piece of aluminum film in a bowl, add hot water and a tablespoon of baking powder (or salt). Immerse yourself in the solution for a few minutes and then carefully rub it off. Rinse and dry thoroughly. You can repeat the process if necessary. It is important that your piece of jewelry is packed in aluminum foil.
- Citric acid: Mix citric acid with water and apply the solution to the silver jewelry with a soft cloth. Grate carefully, rinse off and dry.
Gold -filled jewelry:
- Mild soap and water: As with silver, you can clean gold -filled jewelry with a mild soap solution. Make sure to rinse it thoroughly and carefully dry it.
- Soft cloth: Use a soft, lint -free cloth to remove traces of contact. Grate the jewelry gently.
- Baking powder paste: Mix baking powder with water to a paste and apply it to the gold -filled jewelry. Grate carefully, rinse off and dry.
Make sure not to use aggressive cleaning agents or methods because they can damage the jewelry. Always rinse and dry carefully to avoid residual moisture.
Yes, you can keep your valuable jewelry made of sterling silver and gold filling while showering. Both materials are usually resistant to water and do not lose quality. However, we recommend taking off your jewelry while showering to keep your flawless beauty and shine. Losing weight before showering and recreating it again after your skin is dry, helps your piece of jewelry continue to shine and keep its value beyond many years.
The search for the right gem can be done in different ways:
- Rational approach: Here you can orientate yourself to a gemstone lexicon and specifically search for keywords that fit your needs. Example: For emotional challenges, look under the keyword "protection". The search function of my website can also help you here.
- Intuitive approach (preferred): Look at the gemstones in the shop and watch which gemstone appeals to you intuitively. Maybe there is a stone that is particularly aesthetic or in a special way on you?
- Goals and intentions: Think about the goal or what intention you pursue with the gem. Different energetic properties have different gems.
- Chakras and energy centers: Consider the connection between gemstones and the different chakras in the body. A gem that is connected to a certain chakra can promote the balance in this area.
- Personal preferences: Pay attention to your personal preferences, be it the color, shape or texture of the gem. The visual attraction can be an important factor.
- Test the energy: Hold the gem in your hands and feel its energy. Some people feel warmth or tingling.
- Expert advice: Consult a specialist in a gemstone shop or an experienced gemstone expert for additional insights.
Remember that the selection of a gem is a personal journey. Take the time to explore different stones and let yourself be guided by your heart and intuition.
It is challenging to describe gemstones as "100% ethical". The supply chain of gemstones is often complex and various players are involved because most gemstones come from distant countries. However, some companies and mine operators strive for more transparency and ethical practices in the gemstone industry. Here are some aspects that can be considered ethical:
Fair Trade: Some gemstone companies move into their stones from mines, which follow the principles of fair trade. This is intended to ensure that workers are rewarded fairly and work under safe working conditions.
Environmental compatibility: Environmentally friendly mining and dismantling process can be considered ethically. This includes measures to minimize environmental impacts and to restore mined areas. In comparison, raw stones that require less processing could offer an ecological advantage, since the grinding process can consume energy and resources with polished stones.
Transparency and certification: Some companies rely on transparent supply chains and have their gemstones certified by independent organizations that monitor ethical standards.
Social responsibility: Some mining companies are involved in social projects and invest in the local community to improve their living conditions.
Recycling: The use of recycled gemstones and diamonds can be considered ethically because they do not require new mining activities.
I personally are in direct contact with my supplier, who guarantees fair working conditions. I also have the privilege of combining my global trips with the search for unique stones, which is why some stones are only very limited or occasionally available.
