It comes in 925 sterling silver, an alloy of 92.5 percent pure silver and 7.5 percent other metals, usually copper, and in 14K gold-filled. The sun hangs from a slim bail, and a box chain runs through it. The small square links sit close together, so the chain lies smooth and flat against your neck and hardly twists.
